From the Back Porch to CEO: A Journey of Transformation

In 2010, the hospital where I worked was sold. Everyone in our department lost their jobs. I was not prepared for what came next. I was devastated, isolated and embarrassed— until I remembered who I was.

I had helped patients move from crisis to resilience every day. I suddenly realized that I could coach myself. By the grace of God, I did. It wasn’t over night, but my life was totally transformed. By 2019 I began offering financial coaching to individuals and couples.

My first personal coaching client closed on a four-bedroom home just six months after we met! Other clients became consistent savers, traveling and investing! They are still stably housed years later. How do I know? Because years later they still take the time to send me a text to say “thank you “ for changing my life.

There is no better feeling in the world than knowing you helped to change someone’s life.

In the process, I discovered my passion for helping the homeless and underserved communities to manage their money and transform their lives.

Expertise

I realized that my journey wasn’t just about survival — it was about creating a system that could help others rewrite their own financial stories. The seed was planted. I moved to Houston, Texas to begin my journey.

We realize that thousands of aging Americans (50+) have been displaced out of the job market due to the digital divide and age. As a result, many are losing their housing, health and their independence. There is a need for additional income to close the gap between inflation, social security and rising housing costs.
