There are many gifted people who cannot and do not recognize their own talent. Others sense that there is something that they need to accomplish, yet they are bound by fear. Some of us have struggled looking for work, when our gift could be creating a job for others. The thief called fear, stikes and we stop in our tracks, convinced that we are not good enough, not smart enough, not educated enough or whatever it is that we tell ourselves. Yet we have been equipped with skills that have gone untapped. We fail to benefit from the unrecognized skills lying dormant within us.
What talent do you have that you have not put to use?
When will we believe the word of God? If we are in fact created in God’s image and likeness, then God in fact gave birth to greatness, when He created us. I am not judging I’m merely stating a fact that I learned late in life. Let me give you an example that I hope inspires you to move forward with your goals, in spite of the missing pieces (support, adequate funding or whatever). What if you could excel at your worst subject. Imagine having no faith in your math ability in high school and then becoming a math teacher? That’s kind of what happened to me. I once found a very lucrative job doing the very thing that once intimidated me! Can you believe that? I couldn’t either. My point is, you are way more talented that you give yourself credit for, and it just may well be costing you money.
